About Us

We are a family run business situated on our farm in Aberdeenshire that has been passed down through four generations.

Woodland and wildlife conservation is top of our agenda. For decades we have planted trees and shrubs that favour bees, birds and butterflies. We encourage wild deer, hares, pheasants, partridges and red squirrels onto the farm and they regularly visit the lodge park. Hopefully you will catch a glimpse of some during your stay!

Our location is perfect for soaking up the peaceful countryside from our luxury accommodation in addition to being central for local activities and attractions.

We are passionate about ensuring the enjoyment of your stay by providing high quality interiors, comfortable beds and equipping the lodges with everything that you would need during your time with us.

Throughout your escape to the countryside you can benefit from no light pollution, enabling you to see the stars on a clear night.

Another phenomenon that you may experience is The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis, best captured between August and April.

Our lodges have been positioned for you to enjoy views of Bennachie, a prominent range of hills in Aberdeenshire reaching heights of 529m.

The most iconic peak, Mither Tap, provides panoramic views of the north east of Scotland. If you are able to climb then we would recommend this for an exhilarating day out!

The visitor centre and start of the hill trail is just 5 miles away from our location.
